Welcome to Kelleher’s Dance Academy

A family friendly Dance School inspiring the love for dance

KDA is a Dance School located in the heart of Brisbane’s Bayside providing classes for students from 2 years of age all the way through to adults.

We are proud to offer the widest range of classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Progressing Ballet Technique, Adult Programs and also Danceability classes for children and adults with special needs.

Our Inspiration

KDA has a very proud heritage of dancers, spanning close to 90 years. Megen’s Oma (Grandmother) began dancing at a very young age and continued her love of dance by teaching throughout World War II in the Concentration Camps.

Her love of dance was passed on to her daughter Marijke (Megens mother) also commencing at 3 years of age and going on to run a boutique dance school in Tingalpa.

Megen is very proud to now be the third generation of family dance teachers passing on her love of dance to the students of Kellehers Dance Academy along with her three children Brittany, Holly and Bailey.
